Todd Lockard

Professional Background

Todd was born in Denver but raised for most of his life in Oklahoma City. He attended the University of Oklahoma, where he graduated with a degree in Letters and a minor in Philosophy. After working for a public policy institute with a focus on economics in Oklahoma City, Todd attended the University of Oklahoma College of Law. While in law school, Todd studied Chinese Law in Beijing, as well as European Union and English Law in Oxford. During his last summer of and the year after law school, Todd interned for the Hon. Deborah B. Barnes at the Oklahoma Court of Civil Appeals in Tulsa.

Before coming to work for Tyson, Gurney & Davis, Todd spent time working as a landman for a prominent land broker where he gained experience in due diligence review, title examination, and database organization in multiple states, including Colorado, Pennsylvania, North Dakota, Ohio, and Wyoming.

 In his spare time, Todd enjoys fly-fishing, golfing, tennis, cheering on the Sooners, and playing with his dog, Duke.
