Ben grew up in Washington D.C. but moved to Colorado Springs when he was young. Ben graduated from the University of Colorado with a degree in microbiology in 2006. Before attending law school Ben worked as a laboratory technician analyzing waste water from oil and gas operations in Colorado. In 2010, Ben received his J.D. from George Mason University just outside of Washington D.C. During law school Ben worked as a law clerk for a small firm specializing in real estate and commercial property transactions. After graduation, Ben worked as a Landman for a land services company operating in the DJ Basin and other Colorado areas, where he gained valuable firsthand experience in the industry and in the field. Ben established Tyson Gurney & Davis, LLC in 2019.
